From now on

Since you came along
from now on seems less bleak.
The chasm of my faults is bridged
and I no longer stumble as the weak.
New sights are more vivid,
old scars near faded.
Hope's become my walking stick
and the path is now clearing of hatred.
Emotion's returned--
I have feelings to count on.
Distorted vision's swept away
and I look forward to life from now on.
